Optimize Your Water Softener

Chloride Pollution is a problem, and it comes from insufficient water softeners

As of January 1st, 2026, the City of St. Francis must meet a lower MPCA wastewater discharge chloride limit and we need the residents help.

Please contact Public Works if you have a water softener and report your level of grains per gallon.
