Burn Ban Lifted

Burn Ban Lifted

Anoka County Burn Ban has been lifted!

Burning permit grants the individual permit holder to burn small amounts of leaves, clippings, brush, and other clean untreated-unpainted wood as long as weather conditions do not pose a fire hazard.  Burn permit regulations are authorized through the MN DNR. For up-to-date information on permit conditions visit the DNR Website.

To request a Burning Permit, contact the St. Francis Fire Department at 763-753-2334 or stop by the City Hall. Business hours are Monday-Thursday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday 7 am-11 am.

Please Note: There may be times when no one is available at the fire station due to emergency response. Calling ahead and leaving a voicemail if no one answers may be necessary.

The fire department may request to inspect your burn pile before a permit is issued.

The fee for a Burn Permit is $10.00 as adopted in the City Fee Schedule.
