Community Development Director

St. Francis (population 8,500) is accepting applications for the position of Community/Economic Development Director.  St. Francis is located in the seven county metro area and blends rural and city living into a unique community.  Located 30 miles from Minneapolis, St. Francis has experienced growth with a mix of urban style residential lots and large acreage hobby farms.  The City serves as a regional commercial center for Northern Anoka County and Southern Isanti County. The 2025 Salary Range for this position is $108,014.40 - $135,844.80. See attached job description for more details. 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Planning, Urban Studies, or a related field and three years of professional planning, zoning, and land-use experience in municipal government.  

First round Interviews will be held on September 3, 2025. Second round interviews will be scheduled for a later date - tentatively September 22, 2025
